In case you hadn't noticed, Prince Harry's grandmother is not your average little old lady who sips tea and wears cute hats. Okay, actually she kind of is, but she also happens to be the Queen of England—a fact Harry is well aware of.

"I still view her more as the Queen than my grandmother," Prince Harry reportedly revealed in the documentary Elizabeth At 90–A Family Tribute. "You have this huge amount of respect for your boss and I always view her as my boss, but occasionally as a grandmother."

The Queen is pretty grandmotherly at times thanks to her large collection of hats and impeccable taste in corgis, but that crown and scepter don't lie.

Elizabeth At 90–A Family Tribute premieres April 21 on BBC One.
