Nicole Kidman has admitted that she would give up her acting career if her husband wanted her to.
The actress, who currently stars in the Grace Kelly biopic Grace of Monaco, has been married to country singer Keith Urban since 2006.
When asked if she would choose family over her film career, Kidman told the Daily Mail: "Yeah, if he asked me. No question."
She added that she would not have signed up for Grace of Monaco if Urban was unhappy with it, explaining: "If he said 'no', I wouldn't have done it. That's how we are.
"I know this sounds old-fashioned, but I do put it on the table — because if it won't work for us, then I'm not doing it."
Kidman also shared how she related to Kelly.
"A lot of the struggles that she had, I've had," she said. "Not in terms of being a princess, but the gilded cage and motherhood versus career versus responsibility versus the desire to put good in the world.
"All of those struggles and the desire to keep a marriage together — all of those things are very relevant to me. She is very human in her desires and that is what surprised me in the script."
The actress recently defended the biopic, which has received negative reviews from critics.
