Lola Tung's Daring Peekaboo-Bra Dress Is a Far Cry From Her 'Summer I Turned Pretty' Style

Last night, when I saw Lola Tung trending on Instagram, I assumed new behind-the-scenes photos from the forthcoming The Summer I Turned Pretty movie had been released. Instead, she sampled the peekaboo bra trend in a Dilara Findikoglu naked dress, which sent Team Bonrad supporters into a tizzy.

While the reason behind Tung's New York City street style takeover remains a mystery, it reminded fans that the actor is a fashion girl to watch outside of the show's press circuit. Her stylist, Britt McCamey, steered clear of her character Belly Conklin's coastal-preppy tendencies by committing to a bolder underwear-as-outerwear look.

The Cloudy Border dress featured gray-ish lavender tulle, a cap-sleeve corset, and a semi-sheer balconette bust. The corners of the peeking lace-trimmed bralette added tonal interest to the form-fitting midi style. Meanwhile, the pastel tulle-and-lace beneath the knee-length hem created an unexpectedly romantic contrast against the boudoir-inspired top half.

The bold design is fitting for Findikoglu, the London-based designer who has previously gone viral for dressing Margot Robbie in a look made from human hair. She has also outfitted other celebrities like Hailey Bieber, Doechii, and Olivia Rodrigo in similarly statement-making looks.

Once the Dilara Findikoglu dress becomes available for purchase, it'll retail for $2,895, according to the Net-A-Porter listing. Tung's ankle-strap stilettos from Betsey Johnson, on the other hand, are available now—and for a fraction of the price. Between the peony pink lace, the black bow-topped grid, and Tiffany blue soles, the $139 pumps are a Johnson classic.

Thanks to Hollywood's most fashion-forward Gen Zers, the New York-based brand's hyper-feminine footwear, which was all the rage in the early '00s, is having a resurgence. In addition to Tung, who enlisted the brand once before earlier this year, Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Addison Rae, and Iris Apatow have become Betsey Johnson devotees in 2026.
