Krochet Kids Partners with Vans!
What happens when a big-name brand partners with an up-and-coming, ethically-minded one? You get a super cute pair of crochet flats that are perfect for summer! Vans recently collaborated with Krochet Kids International to create a pair of shoes that supports KKI's efforts in Uganda.
Krochet Kids International helps impoverished people throughout the world by teaching communities how to make products ranging from bowties to hats with a hook and yarn technique. The crochet detailing on the shoes from the Van's collaboration are all hand-woven by artisans in Uganda, and each pair comes with a hand-signed tag. You can even find your artisan's profile online and connect with the woman who worked on your flats! They are available in two styles online at Nordstrom.
