This summer, Starbucks drinks have been all about the 'gram. From officially sanctioned, bright-colored drinks like granitas to the customized pink drink, purple drink, and all colors of the rainbow drink, if it doesn't look cute in a photo, don't even bother ordering it.
Luckily, Starbucks is here for you, and is introducing a dreamy-looking new way to order a Frappuccino: affogato-style. If this is the first you've heard the word, an affogato is an Italian dessert in which a shot of hot espresso is poured over cold vanilla gelato or ice cream. The result is a deliciously melty, caffeinated delight. Here's what it looks like:

The Starbucks version will make any Frappuccino on the menu "affogato-style," meaning a barista will pour a shot of espresso on top of the drink for a beautiful marbling effect. They're featuring three suggested flavors, Vanilla Bean, Caramel, and Mocha.
Affogato-style Frappuccinos will be available at Starbucks in the U.S. and Canada starting on July 7 and lasting through the summer. So it'll cool you off while giving you a caffeine buzz and all the likes on Instagram. Seems pretty good to us.
