Jenna Dewan-Tatum's Bob-to-Updo Transformation Is Pretty Magical
Look, Ma. No extensions!

As advertised, there has been no shortage of super-sexy stuff coming out of the Magic Mike XXL promo tour. We've got Channing Tatum voguing (opens in new tab), Channing Tatum getting lost in Matt Bomer's eyes (opens in new tab), Amber Heard's exemplary fishtail crown (opens in new tab), and Amber Heard's brushed-out swoop (opens in new tab). (If you couldn't tell, Amber Heard has been killing it.)
Now, to add to that impressive, follicularly blessed list, we've got Jenna Dewan-Tatum's updo from Tuesday's London premiere, which is basically a head-soufflé in the most complimentary way possible. But what's even more surprising/delicious about this style is the technical skill and problem-solving it took to achieve. Do you see?

How about now?
Jenna's Hair Merlin Dayaruci makes no mention (opens in new tab) of extensions, and her micro-French twist does look to be all her own, so we'll chalk it up to teasing, Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray (opens in new tab), and some mad skillz. (I really do think he made the main twist, then anchored the auxilliary twists to it with some extra-strength bobby pins, leaving the front waves free.)
Excellent work, everybody. Now go watch the trailer (opens in new tab) again and start composing your email to Channing Tatum about why he should just make MM a trilogy already.
