Last night, Gwen Stefani took the stage on Saturday Night Live as the evening's musical guest. The singer performed "Make Me Like You" and "Misery," in addition to joining the cast in a sketch alongside host Peter Dinklage. All the while, her beau Blake Shelton was cheering her on via Twitter.
In the skit "Mafia Meeting," Stefani and Dinklage sing a bizarre song called "Space Pants" about their solar system-themed garb.
Apparently, Shelton was really ~feeling~ those planetary hot pants on Stefani. The country singer gave his girl a shout-out and asked her to please bring home space pants.

Before Stefani went on to perform her new tunes, Shelton was quick on the draw to rally support and direct his followers' attention to the SNL stage.

Stefani showed off her vocal stylings with "Make Me Like You," after which Shelton was sweetly dramatic about how she had impressed him.

She later returned to the spotlight for her second song, "Misery," and Shelton, being the awesome guy he is, wasted no time in expressing his enthusiasm and bestowing praise on Stefani's stellar performance.
