Taylor Swift Sang with Nelly and Rocked Her Old Curls as She Partied in the Hamptons Last Night

It was an evening of throwbacks.

Taylor Swift has been maintaining a fairly low profile the past couple weeks (understandably so (opens in new tab)), but without Tom Hiddleston to keep her company, the singer has come out of hiding for a much-needed night out with friends.

Swift spent Saturday night partying in the Hamptons with her BFF Karlie Kloss and their mutual friend Michael Hess. Here they all are with Heidi Klum (who also seems to have been in attendance last night (opens in new tab)) a couple years back:

The best part of the evening? The throwbacks we were blessed with. The first being her performance of "Dilemma" with Nelly. We all know how T.Swift loves her rap songs (opens in new tab). Watch her get down to the early 2000s track:

The second, and perhaps the one that is making her fans geek out the most, is the return of her old-school curls. She hasn't rocked her natural wavy locks since her country music days, but last night those "Our Song"-era wild waves were in full effect (albeit a lot shorter than they used to be).

Maybe she heard it when her fans started saying they missed the old Taylor (opens in new tab). Is this the beginning of a new phase (or old phase, renewed) for Swift? Or maybe she's just embracing her natural texture because it's summer and it's way too hot for anyone—even the always-put-together pop star—to consider using a blow dryer.
