Before Meghan Markle became a member of the British royal family, she was known as an actress and model, which regularly saw her hitting the red carpet all over the world.
In recently re-surfaced footage, shared by Instagram account @_duchess_of_sussex, Meghan can be seen attending the American Ballet Theatre's Opening Night Fall Gala in 2013 at the David H. Koch Theater in New York. As @_duchess_of_sussex captioned the post, "Meghan has always been a good sport!"
While walking the red carpet, Meghan stopped to talk to a puppet, who pointed out that it was the actress' first time attending the ballet. The Duchess of Sussex quickly acquired herself a date for the night when the puppet suggested that they sit together inside the venue. Basically, the cute video clip is a chance to reminisce about Meghan's life before she married Prince Harry, and became the duchess she is today.

It's also worth noting that the Duchess of Sussex looked completely stunning on the red carpet wearing a sumptuous one-shoulder silk gown. Even back in 2013, Meghan's style was chic, and most definitely fit for a princess.
