Bella Hadid Goes Full '00s in Low-Rise Von Dutch Jeans on Vacation
If anyone can bring these back, it's Bella.
Bella Hadid is bringing back yet another early-aughts trend.
The model, who has a sartorial love affair with the '90s and 2000s, recently posted a series of beachy photos to her Instagram feed showcasing her latest throwback look. At the forefront of the artsy collage were a pair of low-rise Von Dutch jeans, circa the early 2000s, with the brand's logo plastered down the front of both legs.
She styled the boot-cut denim with the multicolor striped version of Frankies Bikinis' Rose Terry Romper and stacked accessories. Contrary to her denim, her bracelets, rings, and necklaces embodied summer 2021's hottest jewelry trends from emerging Instagram-friendly brands like La Manso. Overall, she kept the feel of the outfit laid-back, pairing the ensemble with New Balance sneakers.

Von Dutch was wildly popular during the 2000s. Celebrities including Nicole Richie and Paris Hilton notoriously wore the brand's trucker hats, baby tees, and denim during their paparazzi heydays. Ashton Kutcher made the label famous for bros of the era. The nostalgic pieces are often what comes to mind when we consider the early 2000s—and a whole new generation is apparently on board.
Known for her ability to take style risks that pay off, the model is making a strong case for the label's revival in 2021. Much like with the cropped baby tee and '80s sweater vest, the youngest Hadid sister has a knack for bringing back rather controversial trends from past decades and transforming them into looks that feel fresh.
