It's not too often (or at least not often enough!) that big-name brands commit to sustainable design. That's why I was so excited to hear that Gucci and the Safilo Group have come together to produce six models of eco-sustainable eyewear for August!
These two pairs are made with natural materials derived from castor-oil seeds.
These models are made using an innovative acetate, which contains a higher percentage of material from natural origins — unlike your average pair of shades.
Here's hoping that Gucci and Safilo continue their commitment to sustainable fashion… These glasses are a great start!
