Promptly at 11 a.m., Kate Middleton revealed her wedding dress, after months of speculation. It was designed by Alexander McQueen's creative director Sarah Burton.

Kate's Cartier tiara was made in 1936 and was given to her by Queen Elizabeth, who received it from her mother on her 18th birthday. Her diamond earrings by Robinson Pelham were given by her parents Carole and Michael.

Kate's Walk Down the Aisle

Just prior to the service, Buckingham Palace announced new titles for the couple, who are expected to one day become the King and Queen of England. William takes on the title Duke of Cambridge, as well as Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus. Kate will become Her Royal Highness the Duchess of Cambridge as well as Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.

The Queen arrived at her grandson's wedding in an Angela Kelly-designed crepe wool primrose dress, coat, and hat. Her coat was bedecked with Queen Mary's True Lovers Knot diamond brooch.

Prince Charles and Camilla

Prince Charles and Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, William's father and stepmother, wave to fans. Camilla wore a dress by Anne Valentine, the same designer who made the wedding dress she wore to marry Prince Charles.

The Ceremony

The approximately hour-long ceremony included such musical pieces as the hymn "Jerusalem" and the traditional English melody "Greensleeves." William also chose to include "Guide Me, O Thou Great Redeemer," which was sung during Princess Diana's funeral service in 1997.
