Net-A-Porter has been toying with the idea of entering the print publishing world since the group's CEO Mark Sebba first discussed it in Dec. 2011. This morning, its publishing division revealed that its first consumer magazine, PORTER, is, indeed, in the works. Starting as a bi-monthly print magazine, PORTER will launch in February 2014 (just in time for the Fall 2014 collections!) with former British Harper's BAZAAR editor-in-chief Lucy Yeomans at the helm. Yeomans is no stranger to the Net-A-Porter family, currently editing its weekly digital magazine, The Edit.
Similar to The Edit, PORTER will feature high-end fashions whether included on the Net-A-Porter site or not. Yeomans said this about PORTER's future readership: "The PORTER woman is a strong, stylish, intelligent and adventurous woman of the world." Sign us up!
