This Gingerbread House Made of Pizza Is A Christmas Miracle

Screw tradition.

Every year, we get excited to make the perfect Pinterest-worthy gingerbread house, equipped with tiny gumdrop snowmen and little frosting icicles. But every year it's pretty much an epic Christmas fail.

Carrie Dennis at Thrillist (opens in new tab) decided to blow off the cookie tradition in exchange for a much better food substitute: pizza.

She created a majestic palace made of pizza, nestled in a yard of pizza, covered in pizza toppings. The shingles are made of pepperonis, the bushes are sliced mushrooms, and the sidewalk is made of olives.

This architectural masterpiece is the work of Christmas angels.

*tears up* We've never seen something so beautiful.
