The World's Largest Simultaneous Orgasm?

Last Friday night, New York's Conrad Hotel was the site of what was promoted as The World's Largest Simultaneous Orgasm. While it sounds like a massive orgy/performance art happening—the spirit of 1967, alive and well in Battery Park City?—it was actually a sweetly tame evening, sponsored by Trojan Lubricants, in which sixty-nine couples (get it?) gathered at the luxury boutique hotel to, well, get it on.

After checking in, the couples—all of whom won a free night at the Conrad through a Trojan giveaway—retired to their rooms, where they found a selection of Trojan's newest line of lubes (opens in new tab), bathrobes, Prosecco and Vosges chocolates. The "simultaneous orgasm" was supposed to kick off around 10pm; whether it'll make it into the Guinness Book might be up for debate. After all, 10 is a bit early for such activities: in our room, at least, room service was just arriving.
