- Princess Beatrice married her property mogul fiancé, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, in a small ceremony in Windsor on Friday.
- The groom's son, Christopher Woolf "Wolfie" Mapelli Mozzi, who was born in 2016, served as the best man and as a pageboy.
- According to a press release, Princess Beatrice and her now-husband "decided to hold a small private ceremony with their parents and siblings," and a handful of other guests.
Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi decided that they couldn't wait until longer to get married, and tied the knot in a private ceremony on Friday.
The happy couple held a small wedding ceremony at The Royal Chapel of All Saints at Royal Lodge in Windsor, which was attended by their parents and siblings, and the bride's grandparents, Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip.
As the couple opted for an intimate wedding, they ensured that their closest family members played important roles in the service. Notably, Mapelli Mozzi's young son, Christopher Woolf, known as "Wolfie," was both the best man and a pageboy, an official press release confirms. It's safe to assume that Wolfie, who is around four years old, was nothing short of adorable throughout his dad's royal wedding.
The couple had previously planned to wed in May 2020, but were forced to postpone their nuptials on account of the coronavirus pandemic. Rather than wait until restrictions were completely lifted, Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi opted to tie the knot in a low-key wedding ceremony, with an intimate guest list, instead.
