It's news like this that makes you really identify with Tyra's "we were all rooting for you" episode: Lady Gaga gives us an electrifying, politically charged Super Bowl performance, and how do some of us repay her? By criticizing her body. Guys.

But with grace and much more forgiveness than those who found fault wth her out-of-Versace bodysuit figure deserve, Joanne responded on Instagram.

"I could give you a million reasons why you don't need to cater to anyone or anything to succeed," she captioned a photo of herself from the halftime show. "Be you, and be relentlessly you. That's the stuff of champions."

As is training right before you hit the stage, where you do cardio *while* singing.
