"Looking at the history of Salvatore Ferragamo is like looking back at the history of Hollywood. He was one of first designers to work with celebrities. For fall, I reinterpreted the Marilyn Monroe pump that he designed in the '50s. Of course it's not the same shoe — I'm not interested in replicas, but rather the same level of craftsmanship."

Shoes $675, Salvatore Ferragamo.

"What I wanted to stress for the fall/winter collection was a very cinematic woman, powerful but always elegant. She doesn't need a lot of color — she's focused in black and white. A lot of inspiration came from Brian De Palma films. Even the soundtrack of the show was the sonund of a woman walking on wood to create this cinematic moment."

Dress $1,950, Belt $695, Salvatore Ferragamo.
