You Can Get a Scary Clown to Deliver Doughnuts to Your Friends*

Just as you were beginning to think that all the hilarious memes of Pennywise dancing to Taylor Swift would somehow ease your fear of clowns, a Dallas doughnut shop swoops in to remind you that no, that's never going to happen. Hurts Donut is offering up a two-day special that will allow you to deliver doughnuts to any of your friends via a terrifying clown.

Unfortunately for anyone who doesn't live near one of Hurts Donut's locations, this won't be a deal you'll be able to participate in—so any clown-haters who aren't in Springfield, MO, Middleton, WI, or Frisco, TX can get off easy on this one. Of course, the clown that does the deed isn't Pennywise, it'll just be dressed and made up in a similar fashion as the infamous character to get the job done since, according to the shop's owner Kas Clegg, "clowns are trending right now."

"We always try to keep up with trends, and clowns are trending right now," she told Guide Live. "It's fall, and it's getting close to Halloween, so we just wanted to spice it up a little bit and do a super fun delivery...We just love scary clowns."

The special is only valid until Sept. 26, though it wouldn't be surprising if Hurts decided to extend the service at least a few more days. In any case, if you're in the mood for maybe losing a friend today, you know what to do.
