I recently discovered that my anti-dandruff shampoo was making my hair very dry. Until now, this hadn't been a problem for me because I faithfully used moisture-rich shampoos and conditioners to fight the heat and environmental damage constantly weathered by my tresses.

Needless to say, I got kind of lazy with my hair care and was lathering up with the aforementioned shampoo without also applying a moisturizing conditioner. My stylist warned me that this dry hair situation would happen, but I blew off his advice. So, when he turned out to be right, I went straight to the salon for a deep conditioning treatment. Save yourself all this trouble by picking up my favorite budget-friendly, drugstore-sold, moisturizing shampoo and conditioner duos, each of which will give you silky, salon-like results.
