At the New York premiere of Trainwreck, Amy Schumer was looking anything but that.

Her 'do was yet another humidity-proof style (opens in new tab) that we're adding to our growing list of midsummer's nights hair secrets (opens in new tab). An even cooler-girl alternative to this summer's wildy popular half-bun (opens in new tab), Schumer capitalizes on the half-up, half down trend by giving her golden blonde hair a deep side part, then swooping/slicking the larger half to the side and pinning the other part back. So long as the pins are properly secured, it's an easy-enough hair style for when you don't want to throw in the towel it in a bun. Not to mention, it serves as a fierce complement to statement makeup, like Schumer's smoky eyes and glowy skin.

After prepping her face with moisturizer, makeup artist Andréa Tiller highlighted her face then contoured her cheeks with a soft, rosy blush. As for the eye, Tiller tapped into the baking trend (opens in new tab) using Laura Mercier's Baked Eye Color in Black Karat (opens in new tab) ($42). Thanks to its custom baked technology, it's smudge-resistant and will last all day—even if it is 100 degrees out.
