Taylor Swift Wrote a Love Song to New York City

Is this the single girl anthem of the fall?

With the release of new album 1989 exactly ONE week away, Taylor Swift has been on a roll teasing out new content, from fancy handwritten lyric Instagrams to Harry Styles-inspired singles that call for meticulous analysis (plus, a necessary behind-the-scenes Secret Sessions house party video in between.)

This morning, Swift continued her streak with a teaser for her new song, "Welcome to New York," available in full tomorrow. Set to a catchy beat, the track seems to be just about the city. It's a change from Swift's usual boys, boys, boys-inspired love songs—though it's no huge surprise given the singer's current stance on dating. With T. Swift so happily just doing her, could this be her single girl anthem for the fall? Listen to the snippet below.
