It's about time.

Last season, all eyes were on The Voice judges as Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton's budding romance blossomed on our screens—but this season's reason-to-watch card totally trumps even that. Season 11 will bring two new judges to the red swivel chairs, and for the first time ever it's two females. Namely, Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys.

Cyrus confirmed the news on her Twitter on Friday, offering a preview of that Miley personality we can expect to see on the show:

Keys and Cyrus will be replacing Pharrell and Gwen Stefani, joining The Voice veterans Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. This new panel could arguably be the most diverse, in terms of vocal style and otherwise, that we've seen in the show's history—and we're pretty excited to see how it shakes things up.
