Rihanna Just Hit Back at the Body-Shamers in an Epic Way

Rihanna is a master of many things, but her Bad Gal signature is a savage clapping back to nonsense.

A week ago, a garbage sports site (opens in new tab) decided that women in the world were feeling too good about themselves and decided to go after a few of Rihanna's recent appearances. The internet swiftly fired off a collective "How dare you," but RiRi herself didn't have a response.


Until now. In a masterful move, Rihanna didn't acknowledge the original post directly, instead deftly employing a meme (starring rapper Gucci Mane) to get her point across:

It's a simple way of stating her truth: If you have an opinion about my body, don't be surprised if I don't have anything to say to you even when it fits your "standard" of beauty. All punctuated with a faux-concerned crying face emoji, like a champ.

Celebrities can't go about their days without a storm of unfiltered commentary about their appearances. It's all too easy for celebs of every stripe to eventually feel the burden of those comments.
