Hello, and good freakin’ morning, everyone! I sincerely hope you’ve had your first cup of coffee before reading this because Kylie Jenner’s issue of Playboy magazine is officially here. And it’s not even 12 p.m. I honestly think it’s high-key early for them to be dropping something called The Pleasure Issue at this hour of the goddamn morning, but alas. Let’s discuss this mess!
First off, the cover itself. Kylie is seen posing on the cover of the magazine in a very cute set of lacy red lingerie (where'd she get it? asking for a friend) and a diamond-encrusted Playboy bunny necklace. Aaand that’s it. And while that’s hardly shocking for a Playboy cover, it's pretty notable that Kylie’s face is legit nowhere to be seen, and I really have no explanation as to why—sorry, guys. I just have a few questions for Playboy: Exactly why was Kylie’s face left off the cover? Did she consent to not having her face on the cover? Does Travis Scott, aka the creative director of the entire shoot and interview, know about this??
Ah, and then we have the interview itself. Travis sat down with Kylie to ask her a bunch of questions about her sex life and how that’s changed since she became a mother to their baby girl, Stormi. Honestly, I had no idea that Travis got a degree in journalism, but nope, I won’t question it at all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Travis asked, “Do you feel like I empower you to own your identity and sexuality as a mom?”
Here’s exactly what Kylie said:
“You remind me that motherhood and sexuality can coexist and just because you embrace your sexuality doesn’t mean you have loose morals or you’re not a good mother. You can be sexy and still be a badass mom.”
Apparently, Kylie’s sex life with Travis hasn’t changed one bit since she had Stormi. In fact, that’s the complete opposite of their experience. IDK, do what you will with that information.
