- Jennifer Lopez skipped the Oscars because the Academy didn't recognize her genius in Hustlers.
- She did attend the afterparties, though, and looked like a goddess.
- J.Lo is hot off performing at the Super Bowl and hanging out with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The Oscars were last night, and they were eventful! It was a ceremony filled with cheap jokes about the lack of diversity and representation among the nominees, Billie Eilish making faces at people, and Tony Hawk giving us a dose of nostalgia. But you know who missed all of that? Jennifer Lopez. Why did she skip the show? Oh, you know, just because of a little thing where the Academy refused to acknowledge her talent and totally snubbed her when they announced this year's nominations.
Understandably, J.Lo skipped the ceremony. Like, why grace the Academy ingrates with her presence? But even though J.Lo ditched the awards, she showed up and showed out at the afterparties. Late last night, she took to Instagram to post her look, and it is the perfect shade of green, like all the money her Hustlers character, Ramona, was raking in during the movie.

Ugh, imagine the red carpet look we could've had if the Oscars got their sh*t together and nominated her!
J.Lo didn't reveal which parties she went to, but judging by her caption, she was dancing all night, possibly to her own songs. Anyway, she's already had quite the month. Even though she didn't get paid for it, she performed at the Super Bowl with Shakira, hung out with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and won the Best Supporting Actress category at the Film Independent Spirit Awards. She doesn't need to go to the Oscars, mmkay! Though, I really would've loved it if she had gone...
Academy, you're officially on my list.
