- Ryan Seacrest recently showed off a tight shirt on Instagram and on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
- His co-star, Kelly Ripa, couldn't stop giggling, joking the shirt was "Mark Consuelos tight."
- The American Idol host swears that he was sent the incorrect size when ordering.
- Here's what Ryan's fans had to say about the hilarious wardrobe mixup.
Ryan Seacrest sure gave Kelly Ripa a good laugh recently.
The story goes that Ryan ordered a shirt for a Fourth of July broadcast and accidentally received the wrong size (opens in new tab). Alas, because the shirt was too tight, the Live with Kelly and Ryan co-host ultimately decided to "bail" (opens in new tab) on the look. That said, before sending the shirt back, he made sure to show Kelly and Live with Kelly and Ryan fans the hilarious wardrobe malfunction.
Later posting about the size mixup, Ryan wrote alongside a clip from the show and a photo of himself flaunting the the red-and-white-striped shirt, "Shout-out to all the buttons working overtime today."

When Kelly saw how tight the shirt was, she couldn't stop laughing. "That's Mark Consuelos tight, that's what we call that right there," Kelly joked, referencing her husband.
"I thought I ordered a medium or a small, it turns out they sent an XS," Ryan clarified, later declaring the shirt was "not TV appropriate."
Laughing about the shirt fail again, Kelly commented on Ryan's post: "Shoutout to the buttons 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂." Meanwhile, Mark Consuelos himself wrote, "Smmmedium!"
Not surprisingly, many of Ryan's followers also got a kick out of the whole incident. "I laughed out loud when I saw u in this shirt 👚 this morning hilarious 😆 🤣🤣😂," one fan wrote. "Did you order that from Babies R Us?😂😂😂," another jokingly wondered.
Jokes aside, we all know online shopping can be a struggle, so we definitely feel for Ryan.
