Anne Hathaway gave birth to a baby boy in March, and—as usual—her body was put under a microscope. Now, in a refreshingly honest move, Hathaway hit Instagram to let everyone know that she's making herself a new pair of denim shorts since "last summer's are just too dang short for this summer's thighs."

Hathaway is the latest in a string of celebrities to challenge the post-pregnancy expectations put upon new moms, including Kim Kardashian, who said "I was so jealous of women who had these cute little baby bellies and would gain 25 pounds—and then, a few weeks after giving birth, somehow look exactly like they did before they were pregnant, lol. That's not me."

Hathaway's comments (and Kim's—we see you too!) are a great inspiration for new moms, but reminder: All bodies are beautiful. Sure, sounds cliché, but it's still a concept that just doesn't get thrown around enough.
