On Friday, Trump signed an executive order for extreme vetting measures to keep "radical Islamic terrorists" out of the country. The order barred citizens from seven predominantly Muslim countries—Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen—from entering the United States. This move sparked outrage across the country as demonstrators gathered outside airports demanding refugees be permitted entry and calling a ban on immigration un-American, if not unconstitutional.
Celebrities and influencers, too, spoke out against the #MuslimBan, taking to Twitter to add their voices in anger, protest, and call to action.
