Selena Gomez is literally the most-followed person on Instagram (opens in new tab), but in her new Vogue (opens in new tab)interview (opens in new tab), she admits that she's pretty over the app. So over it that she's deleted it from her phone and doesn't even know the password to her own account anymore.

Gomez says she passed posting duties off to her assistant because she ultimately felt like her Instagram addiction was getting in the way of her happiness.

"As soon as I became the most followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out," she says. "It had become so consuming to me. It's what I woke up to and went to sleep to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn't want to see, like it was putting things in my head that I didn't want to care about. I always end up feeling like shit when I look at Instagram. Which is why I'm kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit."
