Tonight, Caitriona Balfe, who's nominated for Best Actress in a Drama TV Series for her role in Outlander, appeared on the Golden Globes red carpet wearing an ankle-length black Chanel gown and some very sparkly jewelry—including a ring that looks very much like an engagement ring.
Earlier this week rumors circulated that Balfe was engaged after an Australian journalist posted an Instagram with Balfe captioned: "meet the gorgeous & newly engaged actress." Balfe has not confirmed the news, and the post was later deleted.
But she appeared tonight wearing what appears to be a diamond surrounded by two sapphires on her ring finger.
Like many of her fellow actresses, Balfe wore black on tonight's red carpet as part of the Time's Up campaign.
