Dressed to Thrill: Anne Hathaway in Valentino Couture

On Tuesday night, celebs aplenty turned up at the White Fairy Tale Love Ball in Paris, a charity gala hosted by Valentino Garavani and supermodel Natalia Vodianova.

Looking like porcelain-skinned royalty (fitting, considering we've watched The Princess Diaries more times than we'd care to disclose), Anne Hathaway stunned in a couture creation from Valentino's Spring 2006 collection. Eagle-eyed cinephiles might recognize this ivory number from a pivotal scene in Valentino: The Last Emperor; let's just say those perfectly-arranged ruffles took days to complete.

Anne's crowning glory? That whimsical, wonderful Stephen Jones tiara, of course. We think she looks like a gorgeous Grimm Brothers heroine—but do you think the overall ensemble is a bit too much?
