There's a reason that we voted Emma Stone as "Most Likely to Succeed" in our sartorial superlatives of 2012: she always seems to get it right on the red carpet. Last night in Los Angeles, she knocked our socks off again at the premiere of her new film Gangster Squad — this time in the cherry-red final look of the Lanvin Pre-Fall 2013 collection. We knew that Emma and the label's designer Alber Elbaz were buds — she wore Lanvin to both the Golden Globes and the Met Ball in 2012 — but she and her stylist Petra Flannery must've called in an extra special favor in this case, since the dress was in New York for the pre-fall presentation that very same day! The actress adorned the simple frock with a brooch and a chunky bib necklace (both of which were Lanvin) and we must say that we're completely enamored with this look. We can't help but wonder if Emma and Alber have a little something up their sleeves for awards season. We'll have to wait and see!
