Sam Smith has admitted he's no longer "insanely single" after being photographed kissing 13 Reasons Why's Brandon Flynn. They make the cutest couple, right?
The 25-year-old singer was appearing on The Ellen Degeneres Show when host Ellen playfully grilled the star by asking: "You're not single right now anymore, right?" Sam replied: "No, I'm not, which is crazy. "
He continued: "It's weird bringing out an album and not being single. Because when I brought out In the Lonely Hour I was so lonely. But now I'm singing songs about another guy."
Sam and Brandon—who plays hot jock Justin Foley in the hit drama—were pictured walking arm in arm and kissing in New York earlier this month, which obviously prompted rumors of a romance.
While Sam had declared himself single during an interview in September, 23-year-old Brandon was recently applauded for coming out as gay and identifying as part of the LGBT community.
During his interview with Ellen, Sam also went on to address his controversial acceptance speech at the 2016 Oscars, during which he suggested he was the first gay winner of an Academy Award.
"I wasn't happy with my performance, and we thought we had no chance of winning at all so I was just like, 'Let's get the party started! Let's have some fun.' [I] had a little hip flask, had some tequilas, warming up, and then we won."
"And I went up and I mucked up my speech and forgot to say 'Best Actor' and basically said I was the first gay person to ever win an Oscar."
But he was able to see the funny side of his mistake, adding: "And I obviously know I'm not but my brain and my mouth didn't work together. Yeah, I mucked up. Afterwards I saw Elton John at the after party and he was like, 'I've won an Oscar.'"
The star had won the Best Original Song award for Spectre's "Writing On The Wall."
