With just weeks to go before Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life hits Netflix on November 25, more and more theories about the plot are coming out all of the time. Netflix has shamelessly teased fans with mysterious Instagrams (like that one that made you think Dean's role in the series would be bigger than you originally thought (opens in new tab)).
Now, an observant Gilmore Girls fan over at Bustle (opens in new tab) has come up with a theory that's going to leave you hyperventilating: RORY IS PREGNANT AND LOGAN IS THE FATHER!
The shocking theory is based on three sneaky clues.
Exhibit A: The Pop-Tarts and the apple.
Two months ago, the Gilmore Girls Instagram posted this pic.

If you're a true Gilmore stan, you know that the only time Lorelei ever craved an apple was when she was pregnant with Rory. It's very possible the pregnancy craving has been passed down to Rory.
But even if it's just a big coincidence, there's more to this theory.
Exhibit B: The hidden stroller.
Can you spot the hidden stroller in this pic posted around the same time?

No? Well, look closely at the compact mirror. In the doorway off in the distance, there appears to be a stroller covered up with a blanket. Why would their be a stroller in the Gilmore household if someone wasn't expecting a baby?!
So even if we accepted that Rory is pregnant, why would it be with Logan?
Exhibit C: The London visit.
The Logan link comes from the fact that some filming for the reboot took place in London, England, where Logan works (as was previously revealed in an interview with the costume designer (opens in new tab)).
So why would Rory visit London, England where Logan works? Bustle's Amy Mackelden theorizes that it's because she's married or dating Logan and is in England because of the impending birth of their child.
SHOCKING, am I right?
This is certainly a compelling theory, and I am completely sold on one of the Gilmore girls being pregnant. But I would like to point out that it's just as likely, if not more likely, that Lorelei is the pregnant Gilmore.
We already know that Rory has been living a vagabond lifestyle as a journalist, so if she was, in fact, pregnant, why would her stroller be at Lorelei's house in Stars Hollow? Not to mention, if Rory is pregnant, I would imagine Logan would travel to Stars Hollow to witness the birth of his child along with Rory's family, not the other way around. Rory's visit to London can be explained easily by the fact that she's a journalist. She could be there simply to cover some very important global news!
For these reasons, I think a Lorelei pregnancy with her longtime boyfriend Luke is more likely. It may even be what brings Rory back to Stars Hollow.
But, as always, we'll just have to wait until November 25 when A Year in the Life drops on Netflix to know for sure.
