Jennifer Lopez, 51, Has Off-The-Chart Abs In New ‘Pa Ti + Lonely’ Music Video With Maluma

Her trainer, Dodd Romero, dished on her core workout.

  • Jennifer Lopez and Maluma just dropped a new music video for songs “Pa’ Ti” and “Lonely.”
  • The 51-year-old singer and actress’ toned abs are the star of the video.
  • J.Lo's trainer shared her core workout in 2019, and it’s intense—but not impossible.

Leave it to Jennifer Lopez to deliver the pick-me-up everyone needed right on schedule. The 51-year-old singer and Maluma just dropped their new music video for two spicy collabs “Pa' Ti” and “Lonely.”

The lyrics, the chemistry, everything about it is hot hot hot. I'm already dancing around and playing the song on repeat. I'm also in complete awe of J.Lo's abs. Are you friggin' kidding me with those muscles?

The Marry Me actress been giving hints of her extra quaran-toned abs throughout the summer, but they totally stole the show in the music video. (Sorry, Maluma!)

How does she carve all those killer abs muscles? Well, J.Lo works hard for her strong bod.

Her trainer, Dodd Romero, shared the Hustlers star's intense abs circuit with O, the Oprah Magazine in 2019, and it’ll make you tired just reading about it. The circuit consists of a set of 50 hanging ab raises, followed by 50 rope crunches, and 50 incline sit ups with a 45-pound plate. After the first set, she does a second set of 35 each, followed by a third set of 21 each. And because this is J.Lo we’re talking about here, she doesn’t take breaks in between.

Think you can keep up with that circuit? J.Lo's routine was no easy feat as one Women's Health writer discovered when she tried following it for just one week. The result? "I felt like I'd been punched in the gut *multiple times*."

J.Lo also shared BTS videos from filming and rehearsals on TikTok. Practice makes perfect, folks.

Her daily diet also requires some dedication. Her personal chef, Kelvin Fernandez told Us Weekly, that J.Lo is anti-berries and salmon (it’s a texture thing), but her fridge is always stocked with sparkling water, other fruits, and tons of veggies. "There’s always greens, like spinach, cucumber, and celery to make green juice," he said. J.Lo, her fiancé Alex Rodriguez, and their kids are also big into having eggs and turkey bacon handy, Fernandez said.

And that's how you look as abs-tastic as J.Lo.
