The 8 Street Style Trends Parisian It Girls Are Endorsing for Fall
From lace-trimmed dresses to cow-print jackets.

Every Paris Fashion Week brings a lineup of inspiring looks on the runway—and a fresh batch of street style trends you want to incorporate into your outfit lineup ASAP.
For the Spring 2026 season, Matthieu Blazy closed out his debut Chanel show with a kaleidoscopic feathered skirt that made onlookers ooh and aah. Meanwhile, Chemena Kamali of Chloé rooted her collection in brilliant florals, and Jonathan Anderson’s new Dior devoured the bubble-hem trend, leaving no crumbs.
Beyond the runways, the most noticeable street style trends speak to different aesthetic sensibilities—minimalist, maximalist, and everything in between. Some fashion week attendees posed in simple staples like dainty lace dresses, billowing culottes, and barn jackets trimmed in leather (all of which I’ll be adding to my capsule wardrobe). Others chose to make a loud statement with cow-print jackets, fringed skirts, and handbags decorated with whimsical charms.
Ahead, I’ve curated an edit of 8 trends that are très chic, as evidenced by the Parisian It girls giving them their sartorial stamp of approval. You’ll also discover several styling tips that will help you to master these looks for the fall and winter months.
Lace-Trimmed Dresses
According to French It girls, the dress-over-pants look is an absolute must.
In her latest Style at Large post, content creator Renia Jaz predicted that lace-trimmed dresses would soon be everywhere—and boy, was she right! Parisians are putting a retro spin on the look, wearing delicate frocks over pants for a Y2K feel.
Cow Prints
Swap your plain old jacket for one that says “moo.”
Animal prints are running wild. First, leopard spots made their mark, and now cow prints have infiltrated the fashion crowd. While this trend wasn’t on my bingo card, I’m excited to give it a try—with a calf-hair jacket, a pair of ballet flats, and a thigh-skimming mini skirt.
Fringed Fashion
Boho is so back.
Alongside flared jeans, suede bags, and ruffled chiffon blouses, fringed styles are also leading fashion’s bohemian resurgence. Try out the free-spirited look if you’re not afraid to make a statement. Allow your fringed piece to do the talking by styling it with pared-down separates.
Track Jackets
Track jackets aren’t solely reserved for gyms and yoga studios.
You don’t have to be an athlete to play into the track jacket trend. Follow the lead of this street styler and team a sporty zip-up with a feminine skirt. It’s an effortlessly cool—and totally subversive—outfit formula that will earn you plenty of complements.
Culottes
Here’s proof that shorts have a place in your fall and winter wardrobe.
Yes, you can wear shorts during the colder months. I’m not referring to itsy-bitsy bottoms, though—I’m talking about knee-grazing culottes that offer extra coverage. Keep warm by pulling on tights or long socks.
Thigh-High Boots
This easy-to-style outfit is guaranteed to make heads turn.
We all know that savvy Parisians love Mary Janes and loafers, but let’s not forget to add thigh-high stompers to that list. Designed with an extra-tall boot shaft, these shoes deliver an undeniable dose of drama.
Bag Charms & Scarves
Take notes from this street styler and accessorize your handbag.
These days, it seems that a crucial step in developing a strong sense of personal style is accessorizing your accessories with bag charms. Alternatively, you can add a striking silk scarf to elevate your everyday uniform.
Barn Jackets
Invest in a hard-working chore coat—you won't regret it.
Channel your inner horse girl with a rugged barn jacket complete with contrast collars and flap pockets. Provided that you want your outfit to feel more country-chic and less countryside, polish things up with a button-down shirt, wide-leg trousers, sleek boots, and a designer handbag.
