Playboy founder Hugh Hefner died of natural causes on Wednesday September 27 at the age of 91. He passed surrounded by loved ones at the Playboy Mansion, his iconic L.A. home that's opened its doors to everyone from Playboy bunnies to celebrities.

It's nearly impossible to name all the A-listers that have walked the hallowed ground of the Playboy Mansion and chilled with Hugh Hefner, but Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian are definitely among them—and they reunited via text to bond about their time with Hugh.

After expressing condolences via Twitter (to quote: "I’m so honored to have been a part of the Playboy team! You will be greatly missed!"), Kim shared that she and Hilton had been texting about the news:
