An 18-year-old from the Netherlands recreates Taylor Swift's outfits so perfectly, even Taylor herself has gotten them confused.
Lotte Lutjes created her first Taylor-inspired costume when she and a group of friends had tickets to the Red tour in London in February 2014. The plan was for each girl to wear a different costume inspired by Taylor's Red costumes, but since Lotte couldn't find the ringleader costume that Taylor wears during "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together" in stores, she set out to make it herself. Her grandmother helped her sew it together and she began taking sewing classes.
Since then, she's made 13 more costumes, including tour outfits, award show gowns, and music video ensembles. Some costumes can be finished in a week, while others take several months to make.

... and so many more. She documents her design process and posts tutorials on Tumblr.
Her outfits are SO on point that even Taylor has mistaken Lotte for herself! Taylor commented, "Lol I thought that was me."
Lotte has Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, a group of disorders that causes her to have difficulty walking and standing for long periods of time. Her talent for sewing has changed her outlook on life for the better.
"I've felt really left out and useless at times, but this honestly felt like a whole new world!" she says. "The costumes definitely make me feel more confident. Not because I look like Taylor in them—that's not my main goal! I just love making them and they make me feel fierce."
She sometimes uses a wheelchair and has always liked to decorate it. When she attends Taylor Swift shows, she blings it out to the max with Taylor's initials.
Lotte's designs have made her somewhat of a known presence in the Swiftie fandom, which is how she's met some of her closest friends—both people who live near her and other Swift-lovers around the world.
"Taylor is just so down to earth and she's her own person and doesn't let anyone tear her down," she says. "I feel like that attitude is something she teaches her fans as well. She taught me how to deal with feeling left out and alone and so much more."
Lotte is graduating high school this year. After she takes a gap year, she hopes to study fashion design in college. It's clear she already has Style!
