Yikes, One of Kim Kardashian's Businesses Is Being Sued Again

This time, it's over the LuMee phone case.

Of Kim Kardashian's many innovations, the LuMee phone case stands apart. It combines two of her strongest interests—taking selfies and innovating in the mobile tech world—into one literally lit phone case, and it regularly shows up in Kim's Instagram:

The LuMee is a unique and dominant design, marrying a ring light and a phone case—but according to Hooshmand Harooni, he received a patent for a "integrated lighting accessory and case for a mobile phone device" in 2013, which he then licensed to a company called Snap Light.

Harooni and Snap Light are now suing Kimisaprincess, Inc. (which is one of her very real and thriving businesses) for a cool $100 million, as reported by TMZ. As Jezebel also shared, this comes days after Kim's Kim Kardashian West (KKW) Beauty line became the subject of a lawsuit by makeup artist Kirsten Kjær Weis (another KKW).

In a follow-up statement to TMZ, a rep for Kim and the Kardashians released a statement, "The patent lawsuit filed by Snap Light has no merit and is just another attempted shakedown. Kim has done absolutely nothing wrong."
