Kim Kardashian made her long-awaited return to social media earlier this week following her three-month hiatus. On Tuesday, she posted a sweet family photo to Instagram, several Snapchat videos (including one in which she threw some klassic Kim shade at Kylie), and reconnected with her fans on Twitter. Within a day, she had already reached near-record-setting numbers of views across her accounts.

TMZ reports that in the span of just 24 hours, the reality star/entrepreneur racked up 42.8 million views on her Snapchats, over 4 million likes on her first Instagram post, and generated 84 million impressions on Twitter (i.e. 84 million people looked at her tweets).

To give some perspective and context, Selena Gomez had the top five most-liked photos on Instagram in 2016, all of which ranged in likes from 3.9 million to 5.9 million. And Kim Kardashian's most-liked post before this week, a photo from her wedding day with Kanye, has 2.5 million likes.

Since her first posts on Tuesday, Kim has gone on to post more intimate family photos on Instagram (one of her and Saint garnered 3.3 million likes) and open up on Twitter about her ongoing struggles with psoriasis.
