Gigi Hadid led a pack of models down the runway at the TommyLand show on February 8, and you may have noticed that everyone was wearing white bandanas tied around their wrists.

Turns out these aren't just cute accessories. They're a political statement. If you look closely, the bandanas say #TIEDTOGETHER, and wearing one means you're making a "clear statement in support of human unity and inclusiveness amidst growing uncertainty and a dangerous narrative peddling division."

This isn't the only political statement you can expect at fashion week. Rachel Comey gave out Planned Parenthood buttons at her fashion week dinner as part of a campaign to raise awareness about the important organization.
