There is no change in Lamar Odom's condition as he remains hospitalized in Las Vegas, TMZ reports. Still comatose, suffering from brain damage, and reportedly with multiple organs failing, he's now been in this condition "too long," TMZ adds, "and the fact that Lamar is not getting better significantly reduces his chances of survival." While he's believed to have squeezed Khloé's hand at some point Wednesday night, the gesture is now being chalked up as an involuntary one by doctors, rather than a positive sign.
As has been widely reported, Lamar and Khloé are still technically married—despite signing their divorce paperwork earlier this summer, the actual petition has not been signed off by a judge in Los Angeles. This means Khloé is in charge of medical decisions relating to Lamar's condition, which People magazine describes as "literally decisions of life and death." She is not coping with this responsibility well, People adds—"It's just so overwhelming and unexpected [for her]," a source explained. "She had been thinking of him as an ex, so to find out that, 'No, you have to do this," well that's really hard for her."
People had previously squashed rumors that Lamar's mood at the Love Ranch South was soured by his portrayal an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians which re-aired on Sunday night, but does report now that Khloé is "facing some guilt issues," and believes she could have done more to help Lamar with his addictions. Her family—many of whom are also present at the Sunrise Hospital in Vegas—have told her otherwise, and are all said to be providing as much support and advice as they can. Khloé has also sought "legal, spiritual, and medical counsel" as updates on Lamar's prognosis roll in.
