While we might have seen Gigi Hadid morphing into a real life Barbie doll last week, dressed in a bubblegum pink Kreist pantsuit and pink velvet Aquazzura platforms, and enjoying a girls' night out with her mother and sister in New York City, it's safe to say Gigi Hadid has kept a relatively low profile in recent months, in comparison to her jet-setting sister, Bella.
However, it appears the 22 year-old Californian beauty is using her downtime away from the catwalk to spend some quality time with her boyfriend of over a year, singer Zayn Malik.
Last night, the model posted a picture to Instagram Stories of her topless boyfriend and his French Bulldog in what appears to be a park.
In the snap, the 24 year-old Bradford-born crooner can be seen bending down to enjoy a cuddle with his pup – who incidentally was given a star-shaped sunglasses sticker for the snap – and sporting some blonde tips in his usual dark-brown hair.
Gigi also drew a love heart on the picture, weeks after Zayn revealed his relationship with the Tommy Hilfiger model works so well because 'she's very understanding' when it comes to the pressures of fame.
'I can understand how it can look, that you've got these two people in a 'power couple',' he told the Evening Standard. 'That's not something I want to be a part of. I'm with her because I like her and I hope she's with me because she likes me. When we come home, we don't really talk about that sh*t. We just spend time together as a normal couple, cook food, watch TV, have a laugh,' he added.
It looks like a Gigi's hiatus from the fashion industry is serving her pretty well right now.
