Tommy Hilfiger recently caused some unintentional drama while chatting about his current muse Gigi Hadid, telling YahooStyle that she isn't "quite as thin" as other girls, and therefore wore a poncho at his show. The designer clarified his comments by saying he was dismayed by the casting director's decision to cover up Hadid, and it looks like the supermodel has no hard feelings.
"Tommy was rooting for me and above all regardless of what the stylist of that season said, or what he put me in," she told Access Hollywood. "Tommy wanted me in the show, and Tommy was pushing for me, and Tommy loved my curves."
Hadid also pointed out that she wore a bikini on the runway, a decision made by the "same stylist of the show that had previously put me in a poncho."
Whether she's wearing a poncho or bikini, we can all agree that Gigi Hadid rules the body positivity game.
