Kim Kardashian's Bodyguard "Filed for Bankruptcy with Debts of Over $1.1 Million"

Pascal Duvier reportedly made a claim for company insolvency 10 weeks ago.

Kim Kardashian's bodyguard Pascal Duvier reportedly filed for bankruptcy for his security company 10 weeks ago, with debts of over $1.1 million.

Duvier, 43, lodged a claim for company insolvency at a German court in July this year, according to the Daily Mail. The report suggests his Protect Security firm, based in south east Germany, had debts of $1.2 million.

'There is so much debt," an insolvency lawyer told the newspaper. "There are many claimants. I cannot say the exact number. Lots."

Duvier, who has worked with Kim and her husband Kanye West for the last three years, was not with his client when she was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris apartment on Sunday night. According to reports, Duvier was protecting Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kendall Jenner in a nearby nightclub when he was alerted of the incident.

Duvier has faced criticism for not being by Kim's side when she needed him the most. Although he has switched his social media accounts to 'private,' the bodyguard recently broke his silence on the horrific ordeal.

"The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard," he told the Daily Mail.

"We have tips and leads and we will find you. That I promise you...you messed with the wrong one."

Just days before the robbery, Kim praised Pascal for protecting her when she was assaulted by celebrity prankster Vitalli Sediuk outside Paris restaurant L'Avenue. After Pascal tackled him out of the way, Kim said on Twitter, "My security @PascalDuvier is a G".
