- Kim Kardashian and Kanye West went to the NBA All-Star game on Sunday.
- They were featured on the jumbotron, and Kanye seemingly ignored Kim when she leaned in for a kiss.
- The video is sweet and also very awkward.
The NBA All-Star game was on Sunday, and as with every sports event, there was a jumbotron that pans to the eager fans and celebrities in attendance. Since Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were sitting courtside, it was only natural that the camera would find them. But when they did appear on the big screen for their impromptu kiss-cam moment, they had an...awkward moment that Twitter is promptly roasting Kanye for.
At some point during the game, the camera swung to Kim and Kanye. Kim’s showtime senses must’ve been tingling, because she immediately noticed and started blowing kisses to the crowd. Then she turned to Kanye to make a kissy face...but he didn't seem to notice for a good five seconds, which feels like an eternity (watch it and tell me otherwise!) and also just enough time to crawl into a ball in Kim’s honor. When he finally noticed, Kim clapped and gave him a kiss on the cheek, much to his delight.
Even though Kanye eventually caught on (and the moment was sweet!), Twitter is roasting him for not paying attention and kissing his wife.

😬😬 This definitely how @Kimkardashian felt after this 😂😂😂😭🤦🏾♂️ pic.twitter.com/puezk3vUSUFebruary 17, 2020
All that said, it appears Kim isn’t bothered, because she posted a picture of her kissing Kanye on her Instagram Story:
Also, some Twitter users pointed out that Kanye doesn’t really show emotion in public anyway and that he just “didn’t know what was going on.” Plus, his smile at the end showed how he truly felt when she did manage to kiss him.
he clearly didn’t notice she wanted a kiss cause when she kissed him he smiled hella big. awww that was cute at the end.February 17, 2020
The jumbotron didn’t catch this, but another shot makes clear that Kanye even went in for what appears to be a kiss or a whistle very close to her face—so, voilà!
