Kanye West's comments over the past few weeks, particularly during his South Carolina campaign rally yesterday, are reportedly having a damaging effect on his relationship with Kim Kardashian, according to People. "Things have broken down significantly between the two of them, and it’s happened pretty suddenly," People's source said.

On Monday night, Kanye tweeted, among other things: "Kim was trying to fly to Wyoming with a doctor to lock me up like on the movie Get Out because I cried about saving my daughters life yesterday." He added: "I love my wife My family must live next to me It’s not up to E or NBC anymore." He has since deleted the tweets.

Kardashian is said to be furious and shocked by West's comments about North West from his South Carolina rally yesterday. West spoke during the rally about how he and Kardashian discussed terminating her first pregnancy with North West—and even brought up the possibility of Kardashian divorcing him because of the intimate detail he was sharing during his anti-abortion rant.

"I almost killed my daughter…My girlfriend called me screaming, crying," he said. "I’m a rapper. And she said I’m pregnant. She was crying…Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to. She stood up, and she protected that child."

People and Entertainment Tonight were both told by sources that Kardashian was very upset with West for talking about that publicly. The family is concerned about West's mental health too, both outlets were told by sources. West has talked about being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and has admitted to refusing to take his medication at times.

Entertainment Tonight's source said, "Kanye isn’t in a good place and isn’t listening to anyone trying to talk him into getting help. Kim is upset with Kanye for his rants yesterday, especially talking about the possibility of having an abortion and not giving birth to North. She knows this is something North will see when she gets older, and that’s heartbreaking."

A second source echoed that sentiment to People, saying Kim was "furious" about his North comments. "Kim is shocked that Kanye spoke about North at the rally," the source said. "She is furious that he shared something so private."

This isn't the first time this year reports of Kimye's relationship being seriously strained have come out. Back in May, Us Weekly reported that West and Kardashian were having trouble with quarantine. “Kim feels like she needs some space from Kanye,” the outlet's source said. “She is trying to be a great mom, focus on law school and her work commitments, and it’s hard to do all of this without Kanye helping as much as he can. ”

The source added that West's "super-controlling" nature is clashing with Kardashian because she's "feeling as though he’s been trying to impose his views on her life.”

Kardashian was dedicated to making things work then, Us's source said: “She’s trying to keep her family together, especially for the kids’ sake."
