It's clear that Yolanda Hadid is enjoying having a grandchild to dote upon, following the arrival of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik's first baby.
Yolanda posted a new photo of her granddaughter on Instagram this week, and revealed that she'd been handling babysitting duties. "We spent the day while Mamma was away," she wrote, and included a plethora of hearts on the sweet photo, as she cuddled her grandchild. Gigi's baby girl wore a pink and white bobble hat in the picture, and was adequately wrapped up for winter.
This isn't the first time that Yolanda has shared an adorable snap of Gigi's baby girl. Just last week, the proud grandmother took to Instagram to post a photo of her daughter, Gigi, kissing the new baby.
Gigi, too, has shared a number of photos featuring her new daughter on social media. In a recent mother-daughter selfie, Gigi and her baby girl posed outside in the sunshine.
E! News revealed that, per a source, "Gigi is very tired but is already an amazing mom. ... The first couple of weeks have been a hard transition but she hasn't complained and is very elated to be a mom."
Meanwhile, a source recently told Us Weekly that Hadid and Malik are having no problems adjusting to life as new parents. "Gigi and Zayn are loving parenthood and can't get enough of their little girl," the source explained. "Things are going really swimmingly between them and they're both so happy. Gigi is so excited to be a new mom and has been appreciating every moment."
