And here's how to do 'em. You're welcome!
Just because you slept through your alarm doesn't mean you have to go to work looking like a hot mess. Try these styles—they'll only take you a minute.
It's as easy to do as a classic pony, but with tons of volume and undone pieces, it looks so much more chic.
"Before sweeping hair into a loose pony, spray TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray on hair, then rough dry with a blow dryer," suggests TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist Jeanie Syfu. Next, pull out face framing pieces and slightly lift the entire top section of hair using your fingertips.
Wrap a small piece of your hair from the length of your pony around the elastic and tuck the end into the elastic or pin in place. Finish with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable Hold Hairspray, says Syfu, to tame flyaways and set the pieces you pulled out.
Transform a plain bun into a sexy style that seems far from effortless.
Apply TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Sea Salt Spray from mid-shaft to ends with your fingers to increase texture and add definition. "Then, create a deep side part and gather hair into a low side pony, securing it right behind your ear," says Tyler Laswell, a TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist.
Wrap the length of your pony around the elastic, creating a large bun shape then pin it into place. Finish the look by spraying TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Frizz-Free Hold Hairspray to tame flyaways.
Between having your hair over your shoulder and tons of texture, a boring braid this is not.
"Prep hair with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Wave Creation Sea Foam and rough dry with fingers for a loose, wavy texture," says TRESemmé Celebrity Stylist John D. "Then, gather hair at the nape of the neck and loosely braid the pony using unevenly sized sections."
Use a bobby pin to secure a small piece of hair from the end of the braid to cover the elastic, then pull random pieces out of the braid. "This style is meant to look loose and effortless, so if you find that you've braided with too much tension, loosen it up by pulling pieces out a bit for a more relaxed boho vibe," says John D.
Consider this the grown up version.
"Apply TRESemmé Youth Boost Youthful Fullness Flexi-Bounce Mousse to dry hair and rough dry with a blow dryer for a few seconds to create texture," says Syfu. Then section out a center part and separate a two-inch section of hair on either side of your face.
"Pull the front two sections of hair back toward the bottom of the crown of your head and pin in place," says Syfu. "Then apply TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Crème Serum throughout the length of your hair to lessen frizz as well as add shine."
Two words: ladylike and gorgeous.
Section out two face framing pieces, then "run TRESemmé Get Sleek Perfect Polish Blow Dry Balm through them and use a blow dryer and a round brush or a flat iron to quickly smooth out just those two pieces," suggests Syfu. Then, gather your hair at the nape of your neck, twist the pony up and pull the end up toward the crown of your head.
Holding the end of the twist in place at the crown of your head, start pinning it in place with bobby pins.
Pull the two face framing pieces back toward the twist and pin it in place at the nape of your neck. To give hair extra shine, mist TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Illuminating Shine Spray, then lightly spray TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray allover, says Syfu.
Because faking a shorter cut is fun.
Apply TRESemmé Get Sleek Perfect Polish Blow Dry Balm before using a round brush to quickly smooth just the very top layer of hair that frames your face," says John D. Next, take those sections of hair and using your fingers, curl them under and pin the ends along the bottom of your hairline.
Take the off duty ballerina bun to a whole new level.
Sweep hair up into a super high pony, wrapping the elastic so it sits only three inches from the front of your hairline.
Braid the pony and secure with an elastic as close to the end of your hair as possible. Then twist and pin the braid into a bun shape, being sure to hide the elastic under your hair. Finish with TRESemmé Tres Two Extra Hold Hairspray, for all day hold, says Laswell.
Let face framing pieces out for a relaxed style that feels like you still have some hair down.
Start by applying a nickel size of the TRESemmé Max the Volume Root Lifting Cream through your hair from roots to ends for exceptional volume, suggests Syfu. Next create a deep side part and pull hair into a low pony at the nape of your neck and secure with an elastic, being sure to leave the face-framing layers out. Finish the look with TRESemmé 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray.
Tame flyways and give the illusion of a super polished style.
"Liberally spray TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Flat Iron Smoothing Spray throughout strands to protect hair from heat damage, then quickly flat iron your hair," says Syfu. Next, separate one larger and one smaller section of hair on both sides of your face.
Brush the top, larger section of your hair and pull it tightly down behind your ear and pin in place, leaving the smaller section out. "Run TRESemmé Youth Boost Youthful Fullness Shine Lotion through hair to smooth strands even more," says Syfu.
By leaving hair out from behind your ears, you instantly have a more polished undo.
Create a center part, then brush hair back into a pony, being sure to brush strands down and over ears. Gather hair just above the nape of the neck and secure. Finish with TRESemmé Perfectly (un)Done Ultra Brushable Hold Hairspray to hold the style in place, says Syfu.
This twist on a classic style is unexpected.
"First protect hair from the heat of the blow dryer by spraying TRESemmé Get Sleek Perfect Polish Heat Protection Prep Spray," says Laswell. Then create a center part and pull hair into a low pony and secure with an elastic and spray hair with TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Illuminating Shine Spray for added shine.
